General conditions of  Torgon Swiss Ski School

General Rules
Our prices do not include lift passes.

Reservations
To make things easier all round, be sure to reserve in advance. Online bookings couldn’t be simpler. One click …and our instructors are at your service !

Methods of payment
Full payment is due when booking either by using our online payment platform or directly at our office. Make sure to print out a copy of your reservation when paying online.

Discounts
A 10% discount is granted to families (brothers-sisters) with a minimum of three children booked for collective lessons at the same time.

Cancellations
As long as a cancellation is made at least 24 h in advance, the client will be fully refunded. If not, the total amount of the lesson will still be due.

Lesson changes
Bookings can be changed for both private and group lessons according to availability and with a minimum of 24 hours notice.

Refunds
Lessons will only be refunded in cases of accidents or illness on production of a medical certificate or in the event of a total shutdown of the ski-lifts if insurance was taken in the ski school.
Lessons will not be refunded or rescheduled if a client is either late or doesn’t turn up for them.

Lessons
All ski and snowboard lessons start on our  different meeting points which are in la Jorette,in Plan-de-Croix or on the top of Tronchey chairlift. Please inform yourself the day before or before the lesson at the ski school office.
Torgon Swiss Ski School reserves the right to make changes to bookings at all times. Instructors for private lessons are not allocated to one person in particular unless there are exceptional circumstances.
The Swiss Ski School reserves the right to place children in groups according to their level of ability.
Lessons are held in all weathers conditions. Meteorological and road conditions cannot be cited as a cause for cancellations or postponements. No refund, deferral or compensation will be granted.

Reception
Our reception area is open according to the published timetable.
We take children aged 1 year and over. Rates are by the hour, half day or full day. Bookings recommended. Payment online or in the offices.

Group lessons
Group lessons are designed for children aged 2 and over. Lessons require a minimum of 2 or 4 people. During low season, the Swiss Ski School reserves the right to combine different levels. If there are less than 4 people, lessons will last 1 hour.

Equipment
Helmet is compulsory for children. We do not provide any equipment. The Swiss Ski School disclaims any responsibility for the reliability of equipment used by clients. We strongly advise that you kit your children out with the proper equipment. Instructors are not allowed to adjust any equipment.

In signing up your children for lessons provided by the Swiss Ski School you accept the risks inherent in the act of skiing. Torgon Swiss Ski School declines any responsibility in case of accident. Accident and personal liability insurances are the client’s responsibility.
